Another great new release out today that’s worth mentioning: NJ’s Screaming Females’ new record, Power Move, is available from Don Giovanni. Check out a few tracks from this release on Myspace. The band will be on a national tour all summer and should definitely be checked out live! Insound has a free download of the song “Bell” available here.

Screaming Females happened to be one of the bands to play our Beg Yr Pardon concert series at The Delancey a few years back. Here’s a video I shot at that show.

The tour dates below will take the trio all over the country. I’m especially excited for the date here in Portland, Maine, not just because I love to see the Screamales play, but because my band is one of the locals on the bill (along with the excellent Rattlesnakes). It’ll be a good time.
