Subinev: aka The Subliminal Inevitable Show This was the name of my radio show on WNYU, and I began the website to keep track of playlists and post news about upcoming shows (those archives are long gone now). Eventually I stopped doing the radio show and started posting more local music news and photos.

I used to live in Brooklyn, NY. Now I live in Portland, Maine. Subinev used to be very NYC-centric, but these days I’m open to anything here. For Portland-specific music, arts, and culture, please see my new site, HillyTown!

All photos on this site are my own work, unless otherwise noted. Most of the time they are pulled from my Flickr stream. For more info on my work, please take a look at my photography site, BryanBruchman.com.

If you are interested in submitting your music for review, PLEASE do not attach MP3s to your email. Links to downloads or Myspace pages work best for me. Whenever possible, digital is always preferable over physical copies (that way you save on postage, too!)
