The two times that I’ve been in Austin for South By Southwest, one of my favorite parts of the festival involved no bands playing at all. The Flatstock 20 Poster Show, presented by The American Poster Institute, will once again bring together some of the world’s best screenprinters, designers, and illustrators at the Convention Center. Like GigPosters come to life, you can walk around and see some amazing work (and purchase it, if you’ve got the money and a way to transport it back home) and meet the people who made it. Flatstock 20 runs from 11am-6pm, Thursday-Saturday this week. Check out the full list of exhibitors – I have to say, I’m bummed that Aesthetic Apparatus won’t be there, they usually have my favorite stuff at the show, but I’m excited to discover some new favorites.
