Hot Rocks party Tuesday

The awesome Jenny Piston (who got some serious dancing going at the Subinev Holiday party recently) is throwing a party of her own! It’s called Hot Rocks and tomorrow is the first installment of a new monthly thing happening at the Delancey and you can win tickets to it tonight on WNYU. Here’s what she’s got to say about it:

First and foremost, if you’ve somehow managed to avoid the million MySpace bulletins I’ve posted over the past few weeks, I am DJing a new ’50s/’60s party at The Delancey. The very first event is taking place on Tuesday, January 23rd! You should come because, well, it will be fun, the weather forecast is very agreeable, I want to see you, and, most importantly, all the cool kids are doing it.
Second, thanks to everyone for sending your song requests for the party! Keep ‘em coming.
Third, WNYU’s surf/psych-rock radio show, Plastic Tales from the Marshmellow Dimention, has offered to give away 10 free passes to the event. Tune in to WNYU 89.1FM (or listen online) on Monday night at 9pm for the giveaway!
